Happy Monday morning everyone - I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was super busy and it was all so worth it. I really love being able to serve with such amazing professionals. My lesson earned is that I really have to stay on top of my hydration - I get busy and I forget to keep the water in. I also noticed that I really overestimate the potential carbs in a meal when I don't use the app here. Again I get busy and I need to take a few minutes to balance this better.
We made chicken and dumplings with the carbquik last night and I will tell you that it wasn't bad but it also wasn't great. we mixed 50% bisquick with them and it was good we did because the little dumplings were not stable enough to stay together. The volume of the meal and the taste was fine it was the fact that the dumplings just went to mush. we are going to keep working this recipe. I had a great motorcycle ride into work and can't wait for the ride home. I am off to get a cup of coffee and I hope you all have fantastic adventures this week.
