My Aunt was just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in Dec and died from an aneurism a month ago, so I feel you...
I am on Keto, I’ve lost 25 pounds in 12p days, and you know what I like about it, besides the obvious? I feel like I DO have control, over one aspect, in my life, and with keto, I’ve noticed so much focus (Brain) it’s amazing, and I read that on Keto you do get clarity.
Long story short, stay true to yourself and your plan. It is the light at the end of the tunnel.
