Well, I haven't really lost any weight since I joined fatsecret. I have tried a few different diets, they work for about 5 lbs then nothing. I had some success with Atkins before, but stopped because of all the bad news on how unhealthy it is. I decided just beacause I can eat bacon all day dosen't mean I have to. I am going to stick to lean meats, eggs & fish. This morning I had 2 eggs, homemade no carb, lowfat sausage, sprinkled with ground flax seeds, a handful of spinach and topped w/ cheese. Boy was that good!

I read it a long time ago, but I haven't figured out where it is so I can read it again. I recently read some news about insulin and carbs and I really think carbs are my problem, and why other diets don't work for me. I eat really healthy, lots of fruits, vegies, lean meats and the so called good carbs and I work out every day, but I think I just need to cut out 99% of carbs for a while and see what happens.

You might want to get another copy and review the basics. I recently (August 2007) re-read it and it made a lot more sense to me and I realized it IS a healthy way of eating. Good luck.
