They say body-fat-burning happens while sleeping. That is why I leave a big room between last meal of the day and sleep.
The theory is that by the time I fall asleep, I have no more food to burn, and the body has to take 'survival' energy from my fat reserves while sleeping.
I stick to this theory for now, but over time I'll try to look closer into it. The body composition scales has proven valuable. Great tool during times when the body weight do not move as expected.
