Diario de Shrinking Sonya, 18 may. 10

Well pregnancy is tough, but it's wonderful :). I have gained weight (I'm at about 335 now I think), but I also REALLY let myself go as far as eating and being lazy goes. I'm now 25 weeks and we are having a girl- McKenzie Hope. I've gotten back on track with wanting to be in control of what I eat and getting exercise. I walked 1.5 miles yesterday and it felt so good! I know I shouldn't have gained this much weight, so I'm going to try to keep from gaining any more (and maybe drop a few pounds). Thanks to aliciamouse and her encouragement- it was a wonderful note you wrote to me and I hadn't even signed on in a long time to view it! I do plan to breastfeed as long as possible (I only get 6 weeks off for maternity leave so we'll see what happens from there). I feel MOST guilty about my pregnancy weight gain because my husband has gained weight right along with me. He has always been tall and slim (about 6'2" and 220) but now he's gained 30 lbs! So we are going back to ground turkey and evening walks. (And I'm going to try to completely ignore the TWO BOXES of Little Debbies he bought yesterday.. grrr.) I can't wait to update you guys more as the time gets closer for McKenzie to get here! And then it will be SERIOUS diet time haha. Keep losing and inspiring me to be strong, my fatsecret buddies!!
