Diario de Cody Rachel, 20 nov. 18

First night I feel like I really didn't control myself like I have been.

My day consisted of:

8oz 50/50 Eggnog/2% milk latte (Rough estimate 10g carbs)
Protein Shake (6g)
Pepperoni and Mozzarella (0g)
Bouillon (1g)
40oz Water (0g)
Garden Salad w/ Ranch (5g)
Parmesan Cream Sauce on Grilled Cod (3g)
Side of Broccoli (10g)
1 cup Yellow Rice (45g)

80 carbs is more in one day than I have had in a the past 2 months. I'm really disappointed in myself. The Rice really was the last thing I ate and I knew I shouldn't have been eating it. I almost ordered my dinner without the bed of rice but figured I could eat a bite or two with the parm sauce and move on... I was WRONG.

Here's to doing better next time. :)

Yes, it is in the past so you can just move forward. Are you subtracting fiber when you count carbs?

No I'm "Dirty-Lazy" Keto. I try to stay under 50 total carbs a day. That puts me closer to 30 or 40 net carbs average but I don't normally track my net anymore. At first I was just to compare the numbers though so that's how I know I average in that range.

Interesting. Maybe that is somewhere I want to be once I get closer. Right now the measuring and strictness is working for me.

I think some people have to do it 100% or they won't stick to it. For me if I think it becomes too much work I get a crap attitude and give up. But as long as we all get to our goals that's what counts! how long have you been keto? Do you do your macros too?

This is my second time doing it and I am on my seventh week. The only number I care about is the carbs and that I get enough food because undereating too much creates too much stress on my system. Defently many paths to goal and we are going to do different ones. I am thinking ahead a lot as I learned the hard way that is harder to maintain than to lose

I lost 5lbs last week and then I blew it the past few days. Sounds bad but kinda happy the hubby going back to work for a week away so I can get back on track.
