Good Morning Fellow Fitness Warriors! Well, it appears that I have gained 10 pounds of muscle since my last weigh-in. LOL! It must have been something I ate. What a journey! I started taking the green coffee bean extract yesterday, and even though it's guaranteed to help me lose 2 to 4 pounds a week without changing anything I do (haha), I'm back to exercising some level of restraint, and increased aerobic activity.
DW was doing fairly well yesterday, so we went to Menards (home improvement store), Walley World and Wendy's for lunch. I picked up 85 stones to make a firepit on the other side of the playground. And we stopped and looked at some pre-built gazebos. I'm thinking that, if we wait for me to have time to build one, I'll have to put in a wheel chair ramp to it. We found an oblong or oval gazebo that we really liked, with a steel roof on it. We thought it would be really nice to have a green steel roof that matched the school roof. The one we looked at had a red roof, and DW hates red. It was Sunday afternoon, and there was nobody working there, so we have no idea what it would cost to buy it, and have it delivered. I may have to build it anyway. I'll give them a call later today and find out.
I've been really depressed lately about DW acting so, well . . . old. She reminds me of the way her dad acted at 90 years old. It's just a combination of things, like not being steady when she walks, taking forever to do every little thing, not remembering things. She left her cell phone in a casino 200 miles away last week, and thank God someone found it and called us, and sent it back to us. I have felt convicted about being impatient with her; I guess I just didn't want to accept the fact that it may be more than just the cancer treatments. She's too young to be getting so frail. She is supposed to start radiation treatments today, but she doesn't know when. She insists that the doctor is supposed to call her and tell her when to be there. We're just going to have to do whatever it takes. I'm going to start spending more time with her doing the little things that she enjoys - the kind of stuff old people do.
Don't have time to say much more this morning. Have to go to a meeting. Hope everyone is doing well; I'm going to try and catch up on journals a little later. Toodles!
