Tomorrow is my weigh in day. Actually looking forward to it. I need to find a way to eat something for breakfast. I have a bad habit of drinking a ton of coffee and then nothing else till lunch. I have added a snack around 10am, usually some peanuts. I know it would be much better if I actually ate a little something for breakfast. How do you all do it???

Hello there, like you i'm a coffee person, and force myself to eat breakfast to get the metabolism going. I have the same thing most mornings, in a bowl i throw in 1 egg, 1 sml tin tuna, tomato, feta cheese, pepper and fry it up. It's low carb, low fat, and not to overwhelming. Besides if you start the day healthily i think you continue the day that way. Best of luck.

I make breakfast a priority. I usually eat within 15 minutes of waking most workdays. I eat a bowl of oatmeal, high fiber cereal, or make an egg, turkey bacon, and 1 slice of double fiber wheat bread. Thank goodness for microwaves! I never spend more than 5-10 minutes preparing. Since you don't like to eat early, I would recommend you just eat yours as a snack later in the morning. Maybe some boiled eggs, string cheese, nuts, SBD bars, etc. Good luck on the weigh in tomorrow!

Since you are not used to making and eating breakfast, what if you start really simple and boil up a bunch of eggs? Then, you can grab one or two quickly before starting your day. The book also suggests V8 juice in the morning. The two together are a reasonable start to your day...

I noticed you had a turkey burger for lunch. How about that for breakfast? If you are on Phase 2, the SBD high protein cereal bars (Cinnamon Raisin is my fave) really have helped me with breakfast. I never have time to make anything fancy and the bar helps me with my poptart cravings! Good luck tomorrow!

Eggs, protein shake, fat free yogurts, steel cut oatmeal.... are what I usually have for breakfast! :) Hope this helps!

I have never been a big breakfast eater, especially when I worked, never had time, but I would always just grab a string cheese and a slice of turkey on my way out the door, just to have something in my body to get it started. Once I got to phase 2 I still did the same or grabbed a SB cereal bar.
