3.4 miles walked today in preparation for the 100-mile challenge beginning tomorrow (100 miles in 4 weeks/28 days). Dogs were along for 2.7 miles because it was another overcast and cooler day for them.
The Presidential Debate is on tonight and I'd encourage everyone to tune in, or record it for viewing at another time. Our country has a host of large and very serious issues before it and it's critical for every voter, to not only watch these planned events but, to read and research these issues.
Please don't fall victim to the taglines of the pundits - on both sides. The spin of single, out-of-context comments this election cycle is appalling, IMO. We've received a number of election postcards with claims that are footnoted/sourced. I happen to have some of the source materials and can see that the comment, or claim, was taken out of context to come off entirely different than what it truly was!! Be smart - get informed!

Buffy....sounds like a good plan. And, yes, the dogs are happy to hear about the challenge, even though they won't be going the entire 100 miles! As for my thighs....not so happy to hear of the challenge! LOL!!!

M2B (Sandy), I'm definitely a debate-junkie! Watched all the Repub. debates this year and watched both Repub. & Dem. back in 2008. Watch for more.....I believe there are 2 more Presidential debates and 1 Vice-Presidential debate...the latter will be next week.
