Bacon and eggs. The one meal that is a no brainer for Keto. I never thought I say this but it is so hard to get it down. I am so sick of bacon and eggs

That is OK. You can eat other things. I like variation. I sometimes have a flax muffin a cup. I eat left overs or egg salad or quiches (crustless). I may eat avocado or what ever. Don't get burned out.

Sometimes eating "dinner" for breakfast can be a good thing to get around the normal foods when they become less appetizing. Chicken and veggies stirfry? Stuffed peppers with cauliflower rice subbing? Salad with all the fixings for breakfast?

Fav burgers no bread, fish, salads extra protein. Chicken wings. There’s a lot out there. It’s hard navigating it all.

Lots of people here do Keto and eat many different foods. Start maybe following them if that what you want to continue with. It works for sure. Don’t get discouraged 😊

If you like brussel sprouts and mushrooms saute the in butter and and then put the lid on, on low, to steam until tender. Add 2 Tbs heavy whipping cream and 1/4 cup parmesan. Its fantastic! Even more so if you saute with chopped bacon!

Do little omelet/quiche bakes in a muffin tin or make some egg salad. There's a lot of options with Keto besides just eggs and bacon.

And thousands of Keto recipes on the internet. I’m not Keto but I have seen and made quite a few Keto recipes just because they looked good and they were. And, they don’t have to be loaded with salt and fat to be Keto or delicious. Get your creative juices flowing. A whole world of food out there just waiting for you to give it a try.

This is one of the reasons I prefer the flexible diet.

Eggs and turkey sausage is my favorite breakfast. On days that I do resistance training I eat differently because I need more carbs. Otherwise I would eat them 7 days a week. Once upon a time, I used to do strictly egg whites so whole eggs seem like a luxury. Now and then I add bacon for that breakfast flavor and cheese takes it over the top. I like to do omelets too. I do cereals when I need carbs...

How about link sausage as a switch out? Any zero carb meat will work! No one said you are married to bacon on Keto! I love Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Little Pork Sausages. If they don't have these in your area, I am sure there are similar brands. https://www.jonesdairyfarm.com/products/breakfast-sausage/all-natural/little-links You can get portion controlled packaged at your local deli of corned beef, roast beef, smoked ham, uncured salami, etc. Just ask the deli person to package # number of ounces per package. You can specify how you want the meat cut ...thin or thick or chunks ... it will open a whole new world to you .... Keto is as flexible as you are willing to make the effort to make it. If you have an issue with sodium, add an extra bottle or two of water to your daily intake.

I do avocado, eggs, bacon, sausage, deer or elk meat, whatever is on hand. I do calorie restriction with Keto and IF. Sometimes i’ll mix in some cheese with them. Also try and get a yogurt in everyday too. Once or twice a week I make a breakfast wrap with carb watch tortillas. Love making fat bombs too. Peanut butter and cream cheese 😋 definitely plenty of Keto recipes out now.

@Nana Ellen, for "b'fast," I only drink coffee with heavy cream and stevia, and sometimes mix in 1T unflavored fiber supplement that dissolves completely. My first meal in the afternoon is often a small, ripe avocado. I'll eat it solo or mash it with bacon bits, or 1T Nuttzo (a "nut butter" with chia, etc., for more fiber), or a no-sugar salad dressing. On Sunday, at 11 a.m. or so, my husband makes eggs (omelette or scramble with leftover veggies and cheese, with or without bacon or ham) -- a nice change from "plain ol' b&e". I also recommend eating dinner for breakfast. Check out the food lists (LCHF and keto) at DietDoctor.com. Don't be afraid to change it up if you're sick of the "same old same old"!

Without a doubt too much of even a good thing gets to be too much. It definitely requires creativity or it gets old too soon. I mix it up by making cheese Omelettes with spinach and mushrooms, scrambled topped with blue cheese, boiled eggs with bacon, sour cream, relish, chives and mayo for a kind of loaded baked potato taste just to list a few different ways to prepare the bacon and eggs.

Good way to mix it up : sautee onions, green pepppers, and a meat of your choice. Scramble a couple eggs into it. Flip once and throw on some grated cheese. Quick and easy, with very few carbs.

That definitely happens with bacon and eggs! Take a break and in a couple of weeks you’ll be craving them! LOL

Yeah I get that way too, I have to take a break from it a lot. Some mornings I just have some coffee with butter

Some other REALLY good recommendations here. Especially about NOT having eggs for breakfast. Regarding eggs: I can only eat eggs with kewpie mayonnaise. Or avocado. Always pepper. Always a little salt. Mustard helps too. Sometimes omelettes. Zucchini frittata: Shredded zucchini salted and squeezed to get rid of liquid. Toast in hot pan. Add beaten eggs with a little milk Parmesan or whatever, salt and pepper. So fluffy. Best wishes. Recently have only been able to eat soft boiled eggs. Sometimes omelets.

I've been on the Keto diet for 4 months. I've dropped 30 lbs. I have one dish that I really love and it's been a great weight dropper for me. I'll share it and hopefully you'll like it too. 😊. I pan fry chopped bacon and halved brussel sprouts. I put a lid on to get the sprouts tender and stir around a bit every few minutes untill they are to my desired tenderness. I then add about 3-4 Tbls of heavy whipping cream and top with shredded cheese. I switch it up. Sometimes parmesan. Other times cheddar or cheddar jack. You can do this without bacon and use butter to fry the brussels in then add any other cooked meat and warm up then before proceeding with the cream and cheese. It also works great with cabbage or mushrooms. Hopefully this is something you are interested in and could help you. Last week I lost 3 lbs. eating this dish with brussels, corned beef and cheddar jack. A few days I used cabbage. I do One Meal A Day with no snacks and always drink apple cider vinegar in water with my meal. You can add a packet of keto approved sweetener in this to improve the flavor. Good luck in the future! 😊
