Happy Fourth of July (OK...I know it's only the 3rd...)! Atkins works, even on this holiday. No potato salad or baked beans but brats, plain burgers, and watermelon all work just fine.

Yes, I know that watermelon technically isn't OK unless you're up to adding foods back on the 8th or 9th rung of OWL, but I made an exception. I'll just restrict my carbs the rest of the day so I can keep my carbs at a certain level. Luckily, I've sampled watermelon before this and it doesn't seem to trigger any cravings or slow my already slower weight loss (about a pound a week), so I just need to keep my portion size under control.
