I'm not normally one to jump on the fad bandwagon, but I started an intermittent fasting diet (16 to 8) on Monday and I feel great! While it isn't for everyone, so far its been the easiest diet I've ever done (of course it has only been three days!). It really just entails cutting out one meal (breakfast) and an evening snack.
Since I weighted myself on Monday I've lost just under 5-lbs! Thats without going to the gym, as I wansn't sure how the gym plus a new diet would go. The only thing I've done is my daily push-ups, and I walked two of my sons to the park and back yesterday. For food, I've eaten healthy but not spartan; (I plan on having a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's for dinner tonight and I haven't had one of those in years!).
I plan on working in gym visits next week.
