I’m ten pounds down but I still can’t stand looking at myself in the mirror. I can’t believe I let myself gain so much weight. Granted it has been gained over years following my recovery from anorexia but I still hate myself for it. I’m tempted to go back to losing weight in an unhealthy way even though I know it’s the wrong way to do things. I looked so good back then.

Take one step at a time. Grats on the 10 lbs down. Don’t let that unhealthy way of eating to tempt you back. You lost 10 lbs the Right way...keep going, you can do it.

Hey you probably look great!! We tend to look at ourselves and see things that are not really there! Don't be too critical of your lovely body!! Weight loss is happening, 10 pounds down!! Congratulations!

your body is a complex biological machine, dont fuck it up too much when you are young and you can enjoy it for a long time. Take it slow max 2-3 kg of fat loss per month, you ll be fine in a year. Been there done that twice.

We’re here for you! I’m just starting out too, and tracking meals is a good first step for us! The best way to keep the weight off for good is gradual loss. Even if you did take drastic (and unhealthy) measures, you might find yourself back up to your starting weight. I have hated my body too, and it’s taken years to accept that while I might not be satisfied with my appearance, if I practice self-care I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally overall. Is there something you could be doing for your mental health as well?

Actually, you may have thought you looked good; but I have seen many anorexic women. They do not look good, just sickly. Stay the course. The healthiest way is slow and steady. You can do it!

Stay the course and be your own biggest fan. It’s hard to reprogram our image of ourselves but as you transform your body you will start feeling better. In the interim, forget what the scale says and focus on the little wins along the way... like losing 10 POUNDS!! Great job!😎

Remember, when losing weight until you see your achieved goal on you tracking record mirrors are your worst enemies.

10 lbs is a tough place to be. Just know, 10 will become 20, then 30, and 50... it takes persistence and consistency, but you can do it!

I know how you feel. I had a eating disorder and stayed thin most my life. I've found that intermittent fasting is a way to satisfy my eating disorder urges in a healthy way and I'm losing weight like I should be.

@chrisw77 thanks so much for the support! It’s actually been around 2-3 weeks that I’ve lost the weight over, I just put in the weight from my most recent weigh in when I started the app, then added my new weight when I went to the doctor. Still, I lost the weight faster than I expected
