Had a decent day yesterday. Was able to get off work in time to get to my son's track meet. It was a little cold here, but didn't rain, so it worked out good-- probably a good thing it was on the cool side with the kids out running around and everything. He did 4 events, 3 of which he got 5th place and the last, a relay race, his team got 2nd. I'm not sure that track will be his thing-- he's not real competitive personally like that. He's the kid that will play his car racing video games just to WRECK THE CARS!! He really doesn't care about winning. He wants to be in football next year, so we'll see how that goes.
One of the guys at work is having a retirement party today, so will be going to that this afternoon, then tomorrow we are taking the kids to the festival. Oldest daughter took her UA test for her new job yesterday. It's the first time she's had to do anything like that and it pretty well grossed her out :)
Hope to get to the gym with hubby tonight. I like working out with him because he pushes me and really makes me work, better than when I go it alone. Planning to start taking my daughter as soon as school gets out- only another 2 1/2 weeks! BTW, tomorrow will be 19 years since Bully and I graduated! It's amazing how fast time flies-- I hadn't even been alive for 19 years when I graduated, and now more time than that is gone! HMMMM......

Well there ya go Kat, rubbin' the "old" salt in my wounds, again! lol THANKS!! ;) Didn't ya notice all the "how young ya look" comments, I'd recently gotten??? Ah well, there's my 15 minutes! =D lol Tomorrow, eh?? How the HECK did you know it was tomorrow?? Man, that's more than half our lives! Wow! How did Nikki's audition go, or is that yet to come? May 31st has been a day I remember since 1989-- some things just really stick. Nikki's audition is on Monday-- I'll be sure to let ya know! BTW, my hubby has been getting so many comments about his 'young looks' that he has decided he is only 32 now! lol...

How fun! Next year will be your 20th reunion and you'll have to go and just wow everyone! My 25th is this summer and it is amazing how fast time flies. Some ways it feels like it wasn't that long ago, but in other ways it feels like a lifetime ago! The other day I was carded to buy alcohol and I said, "Are ya kidding me? I have children old enough to buy alcohol!" Sounds like you're being kept pretty busy. Have a great day and have an awesome workout tonight!

Ah yes, how our lives changed that day, eh?? 32... is that the new "29" for MEN?? lmao =D I was rather liking the "young comments" and yes, I do get carded occasionally, too!! :) YEA for them blessed young souls who are too young to tell the difference!! LOL :)

I don't remember the exact day I graduated but it was 30 years ago!!! Yikes :S I'm getting into the scary numbers :O Have fun with the retirement party and the gym.

I just had my 20th class reunion this past September. Was fun seeing everyone, and trying to figure out who some people where! Thankfully there were name tags with everyone's old graduation photo and a year book...which made it a little easier! You and Bully are going to look fantastic for yours! Have a great time at the festival! =)

LOL Bully! Mine had BIG hair in a total 80's doo...wearing HUGE earrings and a black plastic pearl necklace, and a sweater that was electric blue with geometric shapes...and lets not forget the shoulder pads. The 80's rocked! HAHAHAHAH (style today...straight hair, only wear my wedding rings...and my wardrobe is much more toned down! hahah).

Oh, Honey! It's 39 years since I graduated! I feel like a dinosaur!! The good news is, it was still the sixties, and we were rocking it! Whenever I hear the song, "The summer of 69", it actually MEANS something to me! LOL But never mind. We have good memories, but today is better than any yesterday, because we have the power to change it!! Have a great week!
