It's amazing what a difference a week makes. When I started working out early last week I felt exhausted when I got home and needed a good hour to recover before I could do anything else. Now? Not so much. If I knew that I could feel good from exercise, I probably would've gotten into the routine of doing it years ago.

Had a busy morning running around doing pre-employment stuff for the new job next week. I don't know if I mentioned it but the new job is like 3 miles away and by the time it cools down a little (It's been in the 90s every day recently), I'd like to be able to bike to work one day a week.

I know I should've actually eaten breakfast this morning but as I said I was running around to make sure everything was sent in by the deadline. For example, I made sure to go for the drug test as soon as I got the paperwork since it takes 48 hours to get a result (and they want me to start Monday.) I'm okay though, had a good lunch, will have a post workout snack in a few and it's cool.

Have a meeting tonight for my grad class. Only two more weeks and I will be done with this class and 1/3 of the way through my MBA. I'm on track to graduate in 2012 and I can't wait to be strong and healthy when I walk across that stage!

Exercise definitely makes a huge difference. For me it even helped my sleeping, I felt like I got better rest after I exercised. I haven't been able to go to the gym for a couple of weeks already and I can notice it, I don't have the same energy I used to and it sucks!

You are so right! When I first started the stationary bike every morning (which was about a week ago), I had to drag myself out of bed to get dressed. Now, I get up & the first thing I do (after the bathroom, of course lol) is put on my workout clothes & get on that bike! Biking to work is an awesome goal! I have no doubt you'll be able to stick with it once you're able to start. Keep up the great work girl!!

I can't even believe how shitty I used to feel and I never realized it. I've been regularly exercising for the past year and a half and I have twice the energy, both mentally and physically, and I sleep like a baby. I kick myself for not doing it sooner and I promise myself never to give it up :) Congrats on the new job and the progress and all that! You are doing terrific.

There was a time when "Working Out" was something I would squeeze into my schedule - if I could. I started looking at if differently. It's an appointment with MYSELF. I matter and this is MY time for ME. I will not apologize for it or make excuses. I'm doing this for my health. It's not a luxury (even if I enjoy it) and it's not optional. If someone doesn't understand that or wants to me skip it, that's too bad for them. I'm fighting for my life, my health, and my mental well-being! AND I'M WORTH IT!!! Go for it, my friends! :)
