Diario de CindyDD, 06 feb. 13

It is my 6th day of the Daniel fast and so far so good...much more difficult this time around. I do this fast once a year with the church but decided to get a head start since I want to finish earlier. Fifteen days to go. When I tell people I'm on a fast they think you can't eat anything. So wrong..it just means you eliminate certain foods and can eat limited foods. I still have to watch my calories because I am not allowed breads and pasta that are made with white flour and yeast. I can easily go overboard with whole wheat pasta made with pesto w/out cheese. If you use macadamia nuts it is sooooo yummy! You can get creative being a vegan but that doesn't give you the license to overeat which I am so guilty of if I don't police myself. So I'm here enjoying my unsweetened soy decaf latte....ahhhhhh
