Diario de crabby Kat, 07 feb. 13

I went to Zumba with another instructor at another gym this morning (2 of my friends showed up, too), and had a blast. My leg pain wasn't bad at all, but now it's burning, though I've done all my stretches twice, used the hot pack, rested, walked around, etc. I guess I could try ice, but I don't want to tighten the muscles even more. Heck, I have Zumba tomorrow morning, or willPower & grace (I know I can't do both for a while) and then the I Heart Zumba - Girls Night Out party at my gym at 4 pm. I'm going to the Zumba Gold Party instead of the 7 pm kick-a** Zumba Party. I think it's more my body's speed right now with this darn leg tightness/pain.


I came home from class with an appetite for munching; ate turkey jerky, lime jalapeno kale chips, dried fuji apple chips, and a oats & chocolate fiber one bar. I hope dinner satisfies me so I can hit the off switch before I blow away my maintenance RDI I switched to.

I would actually like to lose a few more pounds, but I didn't want to drop my calories to match my new lower weight. Sounds goofy when I read that back. I guess I intended to stay well under the new higher RDI. We'll see how my weigh-in tomorrow goes; I may reset the RDI back to slow weight loss for a while. Maui is only a month away!

My partner's off at a doctor's appt. and I promised to have dinner ready, so I'd better get of my butt & shake it into the kitchen to the music I've got playing, do some prep work so I can get the baked chicken in the oven and have the broccoli ready to steam.
