I backslid on the vegan for quit some time now. Kinda ashamed. Should probably change my profile

Don't have to be ashamed. Sometimes it happens. Maybe just regular vegetarian might work better. I find while vegan dishes can be delish, dairy and eggs can help a lot..... or you could do like I do. I do eat meat, but I don't eat a lot of it and make sure some of my meals are vegetarian. It's kind of hard cooking for hubby and smelling that wonderful barbecue sauce I make. I allow myself 1 meal with a little meat per day. For example, I used to down 6 spare ribs and not think anything of it. Now, just 2. I'm sitting here eating a bacon and tomato sandwich for breakfast. I'll probable have eggs with something for lunch. Supper will be my mock zucchini Parmesan. Today that bacon will be my only meat. Sometimes it's good to mix things up a bit.

Oh i certainly did not mean to shame you, vickiauntmick! I just always enjoy seeing what you eat! I totally agree with magpiezoe, it doesn't have to be all or nothing.
