Pain pain pain, I am so tired of pain! Ignore this journal if you prefer; I understand.

I didn't exercise much over the weekend due to pain, but managed to do my two Zumba classes today without trouble I had physical therapy after & she worked over the muscles & tissues that cause the tightness and pain, warning me that her work would flare my pain level up. Oh, did it ever!

I'm planning on calling my neurologist tomorrow to explore the possibility that I might be experiencing muscle tightness from mild MS spasticity. If so, the physical therapy approach would probably be different. I just hope I can continue doing Zumba. I did it for several months without any trouble; I feel like stomping my feet and hollering "it's not fair!".

It's hard to sleep with the pain. Maybe my doctor could prescribe a stronger muscle relaxant than I take now at bedtime.

I leave for Maui on March 8; I want so much to be free of this burning aching tightness for our two weeks in
paradise! I'll try meditation, relaxation exercises; everything I can think of.

My life is not all complaints and pain, it just feels like it right now. I work well around the pain, enjoying life and getting things accomplished. We were just given two awesome seats for Friday's performance a of Swan Lake; I am totally jazzed about that!

So sorry you are dealing with this. And I hope your doctor can prescribe something to ease these issues especially when in Maui. What a wonderful trip to look forward to.
