Today is August 31st 2019 and it is day 4 of my Keto Diet. Loving it because the weight is falling off of me. I do not exercise at all and I have arthritis in the right hip and both knees, in my back and neck. Today I took my granddaughter and two dogs and walked 15 minutes down the road and back without my cane. Lesson learned dogs stay home next time lol I NEED MY CANE. I had to stop because throbbing in my hip more than once but I finally made it home. Dogs had a plan they are now passed out on my bed lol. I am super excited about weighing in on Tuesday September 3rd to see what I have lost. I gave up all breads except keto 90 second bread and no sugar and no pastas....I am melting away pretty quick and I love it. More on Tuesday.

Way to go! A 2005 study found that for every pound we lose equates to four pounds of pressure off our knees. And keto is a super anti-inflammatory woe. You'll be amazed at how much better you're going to feel in a relatively short time. Keto on!

Please remember to get enough salt, to avoid the "keto flu". When eating low carb, the body sheds salt, which can cause headaches, dizziness, and constipation. Have a cup of salty broth or bouillon a couple of times per day.

Stay positive...sounds like you're doing great! I am scheduled 10/7/19 for right hip replacement. I can barely walk or sleep without significant pain.....so I know what you're dealing with. I can't walk but a few steps because of my hip. I'm praying surgery goes well and I'll be out walking in fall weather!!!

Add a little coconut oil to your diet, it helps with joint pain. Also, look up 'oil pulling' for arthritis pain; it helped me a lot.

Thank you all for the comments. I do also put coconut oil into my diet and I use the pink salt as well. Along with some other seasonings that have salt in them. I will have to buy more coconut oil as I do use it at just about every meal. Sorry if it is not showing in my food log but I get it ....thanks again

Thank you for the suggestions. I do use a lot of coconut oil. Since three weeks ago I have gone through almost 2 jars LOL
