Trying to figure out what is going to work best for me. Atkins was kinda of working, but I was having some problems, and my doctor said I needed more fruit and fiber in my diet, and with Atkins, I couldn't have fruit. So, I am going to eat healthy, small portions.

For example: Breakfast would be 1 cup fat free yogurt with berries.
or a small bowl of "good cereal"

Lunch would be a turkey and cheese sandwich with low fat mayo, or mustard. or a small salad.

snack would be a fruit and grain bar, or granola bar.

Dinner would be a salad, or some of my whole wheat pasta.

PORTION SIZES WILL BE KEY. I NEED TO EXPERIMENT AND FIND JUST WHAT IS GOING TO WORK FOR ME, WHILE KEEPING ME "HAPPY" AT THE SAME TIME.

I CANNOT CONTROL ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT I PUT INTO MY BODY.

That sounds like a great plan! Healthy substitutions for the foods you like are important too. Like 100 calorie packs, making pizzas with tortillas or pitas and low fat cheese, and low calorie bread for sandwiches. Thats the kind of stuff that saves me! lol! Thats why I love Weight Watchers - cuz I can eat what I love but in moderation. You're doing great! Your weight chart is utlimately going down - and thats awesome! :-)

I agree - sounds good! Soups are a good option, too. Filling but mostly water. I add extra veggies to my soup sometimes to make it even more filling, without adding lots more calories or points. Keep up the good work! Have a great week!
