Today is apparently open-line Friday in my journal, since all topics BUT weight loss will be discussed.

It is also apparently shop online instead of getting my work done day. Oh, hi boss-lady!

So I'm looking for some sheets at overstock.com. I'm reading through the reviews and I keep seeing these reviews dissing various sheet sets because they come out of the dryer wrinkled. These people have waaaaayyyy too much free time because they are complaining about having to iron the sheets before making the bed.

Um. Hello??? Am I alone in not caring if my sheets are wrinkled? I have never ironed a sheet in my life, and don't see myself doing so unless I'm getting paid to do it. After all, even if they go on wrinkle-free, I guarantee they're going to look rode hard and put up wet after a night of my tossing & turning. I'm sleeping on them, not serving Thanksgiving dinner on them...

Thank you Desi. I am the same way. I mean, who is really going to be inspecting your bed linens? I also do not use a flat sheet (can't stand how they just slide down and get all wadded and wrinkled up) and the fitted sheets pulls the wrinkles out anyways.

Exactly!! True confession time: I don't even make my bed most of the time. I just straighten out the sheets & covers before I get in at night. Like I told my mom when I was 10, I'm just going to get back in later on anyway...she made me do it anyway. Mom's a die-hard bedmaker and would be horrified. I'm not sure my daughter even knows how to make a bed properly. Don't anyone tell my mom. :P

OMG! DH says the same thing. We get up so early and then it's off to work. The next time we see the bed, it's time to go to sleep. My mother is a die hard bedmaker too. My poor girls are constantly being told they need to make their beds regardless if they can be seen or not. They always have to throw in that "but my mom and dad's bed isn't made."

I don't make my bed either. And I don't use a flat sheet and I think it's crazy to iron sheets. My parents never made their bed so I never got in the habit of making mine either. And I can't stand the sheets to be tucked in anyway - I always have to kick them free so my feet can hang out...

Me either, although periodically I will get a bug in my butt, and straighten out the comforter when I get up!! lol

I never iron sheets or pillowcases. I would rather time the washing so I can put them straight on the line, that way they dry fairly wrinkle-free anyway!
