In Ottawa T my mom’s seniors home. This morning the awesome latte coffee machine broke down so one of the dear nurses took me to the kitchen where they prepared me a strong cup of black coffee and then she insisted I take two french cursants and a huge bowl of fresh fruit.She says we must eat when we are going through grief. True but I am IF. So what shall I do with all this food?

It is so hard when people are trying to be helpful. You don't want to take the food and you don't want to reject her kind intentions. So did you toss it?

When my days were upside down at the end of my father's life, eating was so important because I was emotionally drained and felt like I was living out of a suitcase. You can go to the grocery store, or Farm Boy and buy some nutritious and nourishing food to go. Peace be with you.
