Diario de loosinisfun, 12 jul. 08

GOOOOOOOOOD MORNING FS!!!!....day 403......eyes are starting to open...was a hot one yesterday...was in the 90s and with the heat index was in close to 100 outside...today is no different...i hit my mini goal yesterday an will be resetting my goal soon ...will go down another 25 pounds again....todays extra workout will be puttin rock around the house....before lunch...if the guy comes over..if not thats ok to...im still tired from yesterday ...gonna do a short 45 min walk this morning...an then head to the gym and do a short weight routine to just limber up ....i went to sleep about 8pm last night so i dont kno if my friend called about comin over today and puttin the rock down or not...so gonna do a workout this morning just incase he does come over....il have most of my workout done before i get a chance to talk to mom an see if he called...

addon...just came bck from my morning walk...was 75, but with humidity, it was 83...already a warm day to start out with...headed to the gym to get limbered up...not sure if we are layin rock today or not..but still want to get a short workout of some kind in....just got my gym workout in..but its after 9am and friend is a no show...but thats ok...its miserable outside and they are talking bad storms later after lunch....so im just gonna soak up the inside today and keep cool as i can...give my body some time off...do some crunches later if i get bored...which im sure i willl......have a great day....

was thinkin yesterday about how i finally hit below 300 and about all the days that i tried my best to stick to a plan....an how hard it is not to stray to far from that plan...an how important it is...to take that stand, an to commit to changing the eating habits an exercising...sure you can do it by just changin the way you eat, but if your as big as me ...or if you have several years on you, your metabolism does slow down so much, that doing exercise of any kind will help to burn off the calories so much....its well worth doing some kind of movement....im still amazed at myslf for having lost all the weight that i have....to think bck a year ago, before i started...an how just gettin up off a couch was a major difficulty....or how takin the trash out, made me huff an puff to walk it down the drive 100 ft...or how bending down or raisin my leg up high enough to tie my shoes was impossible....i had to wear velcro fastened shoes, and now i can do all of those things an so much more...i now wear shoes i can tie....i now take the trash cans out, and im not even breathin hard....it just amazes me how i could have let myslf go for so long and not try an make that commitment to do something about it...to let myslf get in such bad shape....and for all those newcomers to fs, that are just starting out, you can do this...yes its hard work to stay focused and to exercise...but im here to tell you ....ITS WELL WORTH EVERY EFFORT YOU PUT INTO IT!!!!!!.......sure there will be days you dont feel like exercising and ther will be days you stray from your eating plan...just get bck on track as soon as you can...and move on...its all a learning process that takes time to learn and to use daily....just keep tellin yourself....I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!...I CAN GET MY WEIGHT OFF AND GET MY LIFE BACK AGAIN!!!!!!....HAVE A GREATTTTT DAY!!!!!...catch you all later

Great journal and CONGRATS on breaking into the 200's! Ya know, you've got a good point, well a lot of good points. The first is about your age, a lot of people would've given up and not done anything about it, you've got a new lease on life buddy! The last few sentences ring true for all of us. I used go off track and use it as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted for 2 weeks until I "started" my diet again, which would cause another 5 lb gain every time! I'm now on a different path with you and all my other FS friends. I've learned like you, you just keep chugging. Have a great weekend.

hittin my mini goal was just like the first time i hit my first goal...just an awesome feeling...as you all kno hittin those mini goals is extra motivation, or it is for me anyways...lol....its fantastic to hit and be smilin from ear to ear that much more knowin that my path is headed in a much better direction this year...
