They say a watched pot never boils. I also think a watched scale never goes down....but I do it anyway. Like that watched pot that eventually has to boil, the scale, likewise, eventually has to go down. LOL!

Household projects on deck for today.

For those desperately wishing for spring....we have a wonderful spring show going on right now....trees budding and flowering....azaleas continuing to bloom.....AND, best of all, DH got some tomato plants into the ground over the weekend and Mother Nature watered them well last night.

Hoping everyone gets their own spring SOON!!!

Sandy - you makes my quite envious. We had snow last night, ice and rain following and we were told it will stay cold, winter-like, almost to the middle of April.///I agree with your philosophy about the scale. Mine is not moving either but that is not a reason to give up. sooner or later it will show and then we will dance :-)

A whole pound! Yeah....super job on negotiating all the candy isles at the stores. I always figured there must be TONS of profit in candy, or they wouldn't devote so much space to it, because it IS sprinkled everywhere throughout the store, plus the baking sweets & cookies & frozen stuff. If a department doesn't lend itself to candy, they put one of those displays up don't they. Your reward, besides the pound down...is the sweet smell & sights of Spring, ahhh, I think I will have to be totally jealous for a long, long time yet, as we just got 6" of snow yesterday.

Well GG, you'll just have to put off your visions of boating for a little while, yet. It will give little Bella time to grow and get ready to try out those webbed feet so many Labs have. If she takes to swimming the way she's taken to running, she'll have a blast on your boat.

Jaime, I think there will be a LOT of very happy people on Wednesday, even if everyone's weather may not cooperate.

Don't laugh but I bought a pair of capris in size 10. Maybe some day I'll even get to wear them!

Thanks Stef. Our tomato season wraps up in June, so we've got to start now. We've been watching all the storm photos on the weather segments and I can't say I miss that weather. On the other hand......it DOES get rid of all the bugs and creepy crawlies. LOL!

No way would I laugh about that Buffy! You've got that!!!!! You'll be wearing those this summer!

Laurie, I wish I could send you some of this weather. I saw the national forecast map and it looks like you're getting yet another dose of winter. Doesn't Mother Nature know TODAY is SPRING???!!!

Sandy, someone needs to tell the bugs and creepy crawlies that they are supposed to leave during the cold. The mosquitoes and flies are out at the first hint of any warmth...ugh! Have a great rest of your week!

Oh I so miss my azaleas! I had two HUGE ones in our last home, they were the first bloom of spring and I looked forward to it all year. We have little bulbs popping up all over though! And the one hosta that always comes up early and ALWAYS gets gnawed by rabbits. Stoopid plant.

LOL-my tomatoes are still sitting in a bio-dome under a light on the kitchen table, except for two that were an experiment and are apparently mutants because they're huge.
