Hello, my FS friends! Long time no talk to. It has been a crazy busy few weeks. I went to Tempe, AZ last week for work and was told while I was there that I picked the worst time of year to come, weather-wise (and btw I didn't pick it - if I had scheduled the meeting, we would have been in San Fran or Seattle). Great. I try to console myself for having to go to the DESERT in AUGUST by saying well at least I'll be able to tell the difference between a "dry heat" and a "wet heat" like we have here in FL, only to find out that humidity is higher this time of year in the desert because of weather coming up from Mexico. Awesome. It was ridiculously hot, and while the desert has its own certain beauty, I was glad to be back home breathing in the wet blanket that is FL August air.

This weekend I took 13yo DD and her 3 friends back-to-school shopping at the mall. After that experience I was almost ready to go back to the desert. Heh. I also painted the foyer, hallway, and game room yesterday and today I can barely move. I had the best intentions of weighing in this morning, but the scale was missing from the bathroom. I suspect DH took it to the garage to weigh his bike (he's obsessed with making his bike as light as it can be) and I'm wayyy too sore to go find it.

So - my goals for this week are to get back on track with my diet plan. I haven't been following it and I don't like the way I feel in my skin. Going to Publix today and will stock up on veggies and healthy eats. Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!
