My biggest motivation these days for healthy eating is clear skin 😆 anyone else feel extra motivated to avoid added sugar to avoid breakouts?

I rarely eat sweets, but let me tell you. when I quit smoking and drinking coffee and eating sugar, my face cleared up dramatically. Now I use a facial scrubbers every morning and night and gently abrade my skin to a smoother, younger look. mine was soooooo bad. But yes, I am very much happier with smoother skin. I know you must be too! It is one of the many facets of boosting confidence. ❤❤❤

Absolutely, I used to avoid a lot of face washes thinking they were what was breaking me out, when all along it was sugar and greasy foods 🤦

I have the worst skin and break outs and I'm 41 it's embarrassing and I have a hard time staying away from sweets I do good for a few days then I slip up it's a horrible addiction

It really is I smoked for 25 years quit cold turkey year n half ago was easy quitting sweets is the hardest thing I just can't seem to kick it wish there was some magic pill to kick the cravings

Sally, I have heard of an herb that you can take when you have sugar cravings that makes sugar taste really bad, I'm not sure if it actually works, but it definitely peaked my interest when I heard about it since it's a natural product. I imagine if someone had one each time they craved sugar maybe eventually they'd stop wanting it 🤔

I get more breakouts from eating bread. Weird but true.

Sally, I heard it by the name of "Sweet Defeat" but the herb is called "Gymnema Sylvestre". I'd be interested to see how well it works if anyone has tried it on here.

The longer you go without it the less you crave it. I gave it up a long time ago after a fierce addiction that nearly killed me.
