Diario de Janaclare, 30 ago. 10

I'm really bummed out. This is my 3rd week on induction. I gained a 1/2 lb. I know it's not much but I feel like I have been following the plan well and exercising and the numbers should be going in the other direction. This is what usually makes me quit dieting, I don't see the numnbers going down so I figure why am I restricting my food when it's not making me lose weight anyway? I do understand this isn't a "diet" but a lifestyle change and I do feel better so I really want to stick to it. Maybe I'm just impatient. I quit weighing myself everyday because I was getting frustrated if the numbers would go up, so I started weigging myself every Monday and hoping to get a pleasant surprise of weight loss. I feel like I waited anxiously all week for good news and then I step on the scale and it was a total let down. If anybody has any suggestions I welcome them. I guess I'm just venting my frustrations. Thanks for listening.

I had the same problem, don't give up, the weight will catch up.

are you using the food diary, it really help to find the hidden carbs that we dont realize we are eating. And we cant lose all the time. I know exactly how you feel, things like that make me want to quit too, but Im sure if you stick with it, you will continue to lose. also, we woman are stuck with our friend TOM who messes with our weight loss efforts every month!!!! we all retain water, crave carbs, bloat, etc and once its gone, you only get a couple of weeks and it starts all over again!!! stay strong, we can help each other. Want to be buddys? I still cant figure out how to do a buddy request, sometime the option just pops up, but then I dont know who to search for!!!!

Thanks for the support. I am using the food diary. And your right about the TOM, we do only get about 2 good weeks out of the month. I will do my best to stay strong, and yes we can help each other. I"ll see if I can figure out the buddy search. I appreciate it!

I was looking at your food diary. Your carbs are kind of all over the board. You need to try and stay just under 20 net carbs. And you need 12-15 of those from vegies. And hummus isn't allowed on induction.
