Diario de JillRN, 04 sep. 10

Week 4 of Insanity done, in the books. Granted I was 2 days late, thanks to my glorious extended hangover, but it is done. Next week is Recovery Week. I am looking forward to a more restful week, but not to doing the same video for 6 days.

After getting on the scale yesterday and throwing my temper tantrum for about an hour, I realized the 2 pounds is an accomplishment. I guess I figured for all that torture Shaun T put me through it should have been more. I have heard some people do not even lose weight the first month so I should be happy I even have done that. I should also be happy that I am seeing some muscle definition in my body.

After doing this workout regimen, I no longer feel the need to eat crap anymore like I used to. I baked chocolate chip cookies for the hubby today since one day a week he likes to have a few treats. Usually I would feel the need to eat 3 or 4 when they were fresh out of the oven, but not today.

Okay...fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies and you were able to NOT have any?? You're kind of scary good! :D How are you liking recovery week? I'm about to head in there for my fifth max workout...hmmm... I'm definitely NOT getting on the scale any time soon, though. Brother just left, way too much partying and way to many snacks. I think I've just banned pita chips from my list of foods! I feel like a swollen blimp today...So, hopefully a good workout and lots and lots of water today. Good luck, Jill

Hey RWL, work was insane this week almost as crazy as my workouts. I got through my recovery week and now onto MAX ahhhh!! I barely was able sleep this week! Thank god I was able to fit in the workout. I wish they would have changed it up since the workout became repetitive after Day 2.

Hi Jill, this WOULD be hard to do with little sleep. The recovery week was boring, but it was also a nice change. My ankle almost completely healed during that and my knees were definitely less achy. Tomorrow is a Max Recovery day for me, and I'm looking forward to it. I know it's not like a day off, but it's bound to be less stressful on the body. I hope you were right about dropping some pounds this second half. Not seeing it yet. But clothes are definitely fitting differently. I hope your work week is easier than last week's. Do you work in a hospital?
