I'm trying my best to get in all this random nutrition advice like 2 Tbls of apple cider vinegar a day, 2 Tbls of cocoa powder, spoonful of organic coconut oil, calcium, etc... I guess it takes time to learn how to work it in to your routine. I actually got it all in today, hidden amongst my food :) So that worked out well. I'm liking this "mousse" I've been making. It is so simple, too. I basically blend up my non dairy milk, several spoonfuls of cocoa powder, cacao nibs, agave nectar, psyllium husk, little flax seed and/or almond meal for fun, and coconut oil (melted down and poured in last) and let the husk and oil set up in the fridge. It keeps for days, so I scoop out a cup or so and have it for dessert.

I take my raw virgin coconut oil in my coffee. Gives it a tiny bit of sweetness. When I was in maui about 6 years ago I was at a restaurant and had fresh fruit and Kona coffee for breakfast. I saw a local putting a spoonful of this cloudy whitish stuff in her coffee... she saw my curiosity and recommended I try it. It was raw coconut oil mixed with fresh sugar cane juice freshly squeezed by the resturaunt owner (who also owned their own fruit fields and sugar cane plantation). I guess people liked putting it on their pancakes and waffles too.

I miss Maui... I loved it so much I got a tattoo as a souviner :) The funny thing is, my family and friends joke about how white I am, yet the guy who did my tattoo (Uncle Tom, I asked all the locals who had great body art who did theirs, and they pointed me to him) was WHITER than I was haha!. He was booked solid, but since he lived in Calgary for 12 years (many moons ago) he snuck me in and did my tattoo freehand in 20 minutes! It's a Magenta Hibiscus with the words "Aloha Maui" under it.

Here's some more tips if you want to consume Virgin Coconut oil as a supplement. I've heard some people mix it with cocoa and some honey (or stevia) and spread it on a cookie sheet, then freeze... cut into little squares and have one or two a day as required. :)
