Just got a call from the pharmacy after radiation iodine therapy I'm still having to take methimazole 10 mgs for my thyroid which mean my thyroid is still to high. Doesn't make semse what the heck did i get nuked for and why am I gaining instead of losing. I go to University of Alabama, Kirklin Center for treatment and they can't call and talk to me. i will call up there tomorrow. This is suppose to be a world renown medical center. Grrrrrrrrrr

I just feel like I'm fighting a never ending battle. I struggle to lose weight and this thyroid bull doesn't help. Sorry just upset.

We all just keep plugging along. Some days are good and some not so good. Maybe the tests you took will tell something so the doc can get it worked out and working right. I wasn't logging and found I was eating way too much. I've started logging.. hopefully... faithfully and I seem to be doing better. Especially if I keep the carbs low and log all day, not just the breakfast. Yesterday was a really good day. I tho't I would weight less than I did this a.m., but that's okay. I did lose a few oz. Just remember I'm rooting for you. later, donna

Test results are back and all in normal range but yet staying on high dose of methimazole. Doesn't make sense to me. So i guess I'm just fat this month by myself. So ,"OK Tonya get your butt in gear."
