dad said they just opened the lake he lives on (private but aparently the Illinois dnr can still shut it down). said he'll be getting the boat ready this week. I'm stoked.  

Yeah i caught 3 then the power of hunger got me it was nice beautiful really  

I shot 4 pigeons at the church yesterday. Closest thing to hunting I've done in a couple years. They've ruined the HVAC In our new building.  

Yeah they will ruin things when i was younger i cooked under a french chef and he lives to eat em we would serve them sometimes 

For real? I was wondering if there was anything I could do with them. After all they've predicted a meat shortage. Lol. 

Yes for real and they taste good i take birds lime pigeons and dove and quail after plucking and gutting get smomer going inside birds cavity i add a whole fresh jalapeno wrap in bacon and smoke your mouth will thank you

Love fresh fish!! My Sil keeps me supplied with lake caught catfish. Mmm should thaw a filet out for dinner. I have some frozen in vacuum bags. They live 2 hours south so i freeze some. Love quail but years and years since i have had any.

I trap my quail use a pvc pipe 3 inch add a handle to the top chicken wire on one end one end open fill with corn set in field i have 10 tubes. quail do not back up like crabs or lobsters once in they are trapped return and check cap open end then keep quail in pens till you have enough for a meal i like to raise every once in a while also

That's a great idea for the quail. I got an anonymous visa left on my cart one day thanking me for simply doing my job so I treated myself to a gamo air rifle. 

Heck i grew up poor in the deep south heck we got creative and an air rifle for pigeons game on freezer full when i was in the army i was stationed in Oklahoma for a while training artillery and a guy called pigeons parking lot chickens he was from New York
