oh no! I'm a sports girl, and although I don't run, I am a year round volleyball player, playing in all day tournaments and leagues. I have had my share of injuries...and have had hamstring pulls...calf pulls, knee surgery etc. etc. etc. A week is not going to give your injury the time off it needs. You are looking more at a month off. I suggest doing light walking...and do other things to exercise...situps, arm weights....anything but running, squats or doing anything to aggrivate it. Hang in there. Tell your daughter the sky is purple and see what she says =)
