Diario de POWENCH, 25 sep. 08

I am having a pretty good week so far...do have some temptations coming up this weekend, begining tonight with my Mom's Birthday dinner. I am driving to her house, (an hour away) and taking her out to the nice dinner place in the town where she lives. My sister is going with us, so should be able to get through this one...tomorrow our friends are having a grand opening for their new bar, and I have to go and then off to the local Homecoming at the high school. Trying to decide if I should eat the bar fare or risk the booster club concession stand, now there is a true example of the lesser of two evils!

On Saturday my husband and I have to attend the retirement dinner/party of one of his co-workers. Saturday is my Birthday, but because of the retirement party my friends are going to throw me a afternoon party on Sunday complete with beef tri tip and beer butt chicken, (gotta remember to look that one up for points!) I have already decided I am going to make and eat some of my Grandmothers Baked Mac and Cheese, my favorite food from childhood.

I am going to make my exercise each day and my even increase my time on Saturday and Sunday if possible. Oh Yah.. and on the side I am spending the weekend packing for Minnesota..work/vacation trip that starts on the 3rd.

Holy Crap! Can it get any crazeier?
