This probably sounds like a dumb question; does frozen fruit have the same calories and benefits as fresh fruit?

Anne i am no expert but i do like to put my pennies worth in , but i would guess it contains less calories because of the extra water from freezing? Unless they add anything(preservaties etc) when they freeze the fruit? I am sure i will be corrected if i am wrong!

I hope you are right! I took to buying frozen fruit over lockdown and found I prefer it to fresh fruit. I was just wondering if there were any drawbacks to it. I don't like frozen veg though (except peas)

45 calories per 100 g. Ingredients blueberries, strawberries, mango, raspberries. Nothing else. Looks promising but I will await judgement from any other experts out there!

I have it on my porridge, ruuds, but quite fancy having a bowl of it, slightly defrosted, as a pudding. Mr Magoo..............who said that!? Lol

Actually that sounds nice, I've heard of people freezing grapes as a treat too 🍇🙂

Frozen fruit and vegetables are said to have better nutrition values then normal because freezing hold in all the nutritional in or so I read don’t know how true it is.

They’re the same in that nothing usually gets added, but they’re picked ripe instead of early. Which is good in my opinion 😊 they may be a little sweeter but they’ll have more vitamins too

That's interesting, Nutricali. I thought there was something different about them but couldn't put my finger on it. They are sweeter and riper.
