My hair is falling out at an alarming rate. My doc says it’s natural as a side effect of rapid weight loss and it will stop happening and start growing back in about six months. This is causing me a lot of grief because I’ve always had “nice” hair despite being enormous in size. Uncharted waters for me and sailing on faith that this is just a phase.

I've had it happen, too, and yes, it does grow back. But major stress can also cause temporary hair loss, so look back on the past month to see if there was something big that happened.

I lost mine to Lupus. I only wash it once or twice a week at most per my dr. It helps! Also, I got a satin cap and I wear it nightly. It keeps the natural moisture in and my hair is long now to my shoulder blades. It’s still thin, but much improved! Best wishes.

Keep protein very high. Add vitamins that help with hair growth and be gentile to your hair. Find new ways to style it with out all the chemicals and heat.

Mine has been falling out in clumps since losing weight and then my RA meds. You’re not alone 🙌 It does come back when the loss is slower. Head massager stimulates growth and vitamins are super helpful too.
