Again, a failure. Keeping carbs to a minimum isnt working with my emotions. Time for yet another strategy :(

Im not sure how much I should be eating. Babyfit.com recommends 1900-2000. Ouch! Thats a hard number to swallow.

Shannon, I think you are doing great!! Don't stress too much about it. You make really healthy choices with your foods. Just don't overindulge! Take this opportunity to enjoy a few treats that you enjoy - just not every day and not in large quantities!!

I agree...don't stress yourself out worrying about what to eat. You should enjoy this time. You'll do fine.

So do you think eating 1/3 of an oreo package will put on one or two pounds? Sunday was NOT pretty.

HA!!! Don't worry about the occassional splurge. When my sister was pregnant she could only keep fried shrimp, french fries, apples and (of all things) green beans down. The doctor said, that was fine. Then eat those at every meal. At least she got some vegetables and fruit in!!! Remember, its not about the splurges - its about the 90% of the time that you are fine. Enjoy the oreos!!! I'm sure the baby did!!! I hope you had milk, too!!! ha!

I loved babyfit when I was pregnant with DS2. You can edit your goal calorie intake as well to better suit YOU instead of women in general, or you could three years ago. Using babyfit with DS2 I only gained about 15-20 lbs (dr recommended) and I loved the ladies I met there. Still send xmas cards to the ones in my due date thread. :)
