Diario de debbra, 20 dic. 08

DAY #5 It's Saturday, and the kids are on their three week vacation from school. Things are doing great, and I'm finally on a good path with my diet. I have to say, though, that that weight drop into the 150's lasted a good five minutes. And then, even though I didn't go off my diet at all and I stayed 100% on it, the weight settled back up to the 160's. I am not going to record it because it hasn't been a week. Actually, I was surprised by the big drop at the time because it was four pounds in three days. So maybe I was low on water or something. I'll let my body do what it needs to do. I'm okay with it because I know I've been doing everything I can to lose weight. So I am pleased. But one does get impatient. LOL


I went shopping all day. I came home at 11:30 pm. I bought myself present, new jewelry from store going out of business. Bought boys leather jackets, also on good sale. I'm tired. Going to sleep.

You are doing great! My weight fluctuates so much throughout the day/week/month. I plan to weigh in on Sunday after TOM. Hang in there and go get your shopping done!! Take care!

My weight fluctuates as much as 6 or more pounds from day to day on a fairly regular basis! Oi! Don't let the numbers get you down, though. The scale relates a value that includes undigested food, constipation, salty bloat, menstrual bloat, and a myriad of other factors that contribute to a higher number on the readout than is actually our "real" weight. Just keep at it and things will even out. The laws of science have not been suspended just for you! Less calories than calories out equals weight loss. It just doesn't always register immediately on the scale.
