I just figured out that since I changed my WOE on September 17, 2020 I have let go of an average of .438# a day. The journey has not been too difficult. The hardest thing is to stay mindful and not give in to habitual eating. It has also been a mind game of not fooling myself believing I can just have a bite. It's a lie for me. I have watched and read a lot of Dr. Jason Fung who educates on the fallacies of CICO. Eat less, move more is 99% failure over time. His web site is thefastingmethod.com and has science for fasting vs. calorie restriction. He also has a facebook page for support and education. On Youtube he teaches other doctors too which is pretty technical but great for any more interested in the chemistry and hormonal changes in our bodies when we fast vs. calorie restrict.
