One good day, one bad! So Thursday was A+. And then Friday Was an A until the night time (my weakest point.) I'm tired of the old story, and I almost didn't even write this journal because I feel like a broken record. All I can say is I didn't follow the necessary protocol to avoid the slip-up, having stayed up too late and not having eaten enough substantial food to sustain me after my big morning workout. So I indulged in overeating last night. I'm not going to go into what. Let's just say sugar, chocolate, and butter were involved.
I've had the thought in the past that daily hard workouts are maybe not so good. I tend to get too hungry, and then I don't know what to eat to feel well. I'm going to go back to my normal routine until I lose weight, adding in two days a week of really strenuous hills and running. I'd like to get down to my first goal before I really begin pushing myself daily. Okay, I feel better now! I'm glad I figured that out. :)
For those who are wondering about the 82 degree temperature outside and where I must live, it's Southern California. So we're gonna go on a family hike. It's gorgeous outside! And for all you guys who are freezing, I know you'll think I'm nuts, but I'd love to see the snow. It's been too warm in our nearby mountain areas to see very much this year. Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a great day!!!!!
I ended up just sending my family on a walk so that I could do errands. Then I treadmilled for 90 minutes at my regular speed and incline, which is 3.6 at 6 and a little 3.7 at 7. I walked for 5.41 miles.
