Plan: one more day of egg fast/skip breakfast.
Went out in the cold rainy dark last night to cut my last cauliflower plant because I was afraid the freeze might damage it. Looking forward to eating it. I still have cabbages in the garden. This is the time of year I start looking at seed catalogs and planning for a spring garden, when other people go skiing.
End of year shopping trip today to buy two more Christmas presents. Ate 1/2 of a simple and fit omelet at IHOP and planning the other half for supper. No plans to celebrate new year tonight; we'll stay home like old folks!

Debbie, I earned my 3rd $ today! It does help me keep the calories down because I'm going to use the money to buy some new clothes. I noticed while I was shopping today that I needed to hitch up my pants several times! It's a good feeling. I will eat normal on Friday because for good luck in the new year, we eat blackeyed peas, jowl, cornbread and greens with friends on January 1. Then I will probably have to fast again next week to make up for the one day off! :-) Ruthe, I do raise an organic garden. It's amazing how much better veggies taste when you gather them just before you cook them!
