I'm home free with holiday meals! All of the remaining goodies are used up, including the oliebollen (pictured below), which are deep fried sort of fruitcake-like Dutch NYE and NYD tradition. I didn't make them last year, so I was sure as heck making them this year! They were delicious and I have no regrets.

I've also signed up for Noom again. I got a code for 90% off in my email, so I'm starting over. I am going to log both here and there, because I like elements of both systems (I do wish that either just included a hydration tracker, but oh well...).

The weather has been abysmal here, so my outdoor walks have been a bust for the past two weeks. This morning I decided to risk the mall and I did a 16-minute mile, with only two stops to look at shoes! I would've done another lap, but the mall started getting busy. Too many noses showing for my comfort! That said, it's never busy on weekday afternoons, so I've decided that I'm going to go for a walk at the mall on weekday afternoons.

Good plan regarding the weekday afternoon walking. After I've lost 15-20 pounds, I'm going to start walking around the perimeter of our property again. LAST winter, I bought a warm coat, gloves, and face covering (because I have rosacea and wind exacerbates it). I still am having a lot of problems with my knees (have had replacements in both), and the weather, AND MY WEIGHT affect them adversely. A little less weight will make it less painful to walk, AND I'm gradually eliminating Diet Coke and some other things that have inflammatory properties.

Happy New Year, Psh! Fried fruitcake sounds delish btw LOL! You can add water in your Food Diary - not exactly a tracker, but it might work for what you need? Wishing you every success this year! :)

@LivLite I have tried, but water doesn't tally or show up anywhere, so I can't ever remember if I've had enough. @DebbieCousins I went to the mall this morning to do another lap - well before it was officially open. The place is great - it's a mile round trip, but it has a figure-8 pass through situation, so you can make it shorter or longer as needed. It felt good to get it done first thing, I tell you! Every little bit helps!

Somebody suggested a couple months ago that you keep track of it in your SNACKS section. You can find "Water 8oz" in the Foods section. Just click on it when you have the first cup of water, then go back in and up the amount by one each time you drink another cup. The way I keep track is by filling up 8 8-oz bottles each morning from a gallon of Distilled Water (I find it easier to drink than Spring, Drinking or Purified). I'm not a super-diligent conservationist, but throwing away EIGHT of those bottles a day was a bit painful even for me.
