Diario de loosinisfun, 05 feb. 09

gooooood mornin everyone!!!...the sun came out yesterday and i pulled the curtains bck to soak up the sun ...was still cold outside, but inside the sun felt so good on my skin...todays suppose to be warmer and friday in the 50-60s...wow...almost short sleeve weather again...just been gettin my exercise on the floor last few days i hate gettin out anymore then i have to when its down around zero...had planned on going to gym today but its 3 outside and a wind chill of -6 according to the weather channel.....so one more day and tomow im going to the gym for sure...as the temps should be warmer at night as well..or im hopin anyways...already been on the scales..still the same...no gain is great..lol...hopin this afternoon i can get out an do an inside walk...plus walmart is on my list of things to do this afternoon..so should get some steps in...my steps have been suffering this last week...i think my highest was like 1098 one day this week..with the snow still on the ground and the colder temps i just havent been doing alot...o well ...gotta stay positive...the weather will change an i am gonna make the most of it when it does...plain an simple...hope you all have a great day today!!!..with great eating habits an exercise!!!..

MY MINI GOALS TO FOCUS ON DAILY!!!!

1. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF !!!!!

6. FORGIVE YOURSELF WHEN YOU MESS UP AND GET BACK ON BACK ON TRACK AT THE NEXT MEAL !!!!
7. DRINK 16 oz OF WATER SOON AS YOU GET OUTTA BED !!!!
8. EAT YOUR HIGHEST AMOUNT OF CALORIES AT BREAKFAST !!!!!
9. AT LUNCH FEWER CALORIES !!!!!
10. AT SUPPER EVEN LESS CALORIES !!!
11. WATER!!! ..WATER!!! ...WATER!!!...FLUSH OUT THE SYSTEM !!!
12. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SALT INTAKE !!!!!
13. TAKING DAYS OFF IS NECESSARY !!!!!! FOR RECOVERY !!!
14. DOING HI-INTENSITY WORKOUTS BUILDS UP MY HEART MUSCLES SO THAT I CAN GET MORE OXYGEN IN MY BODY TO BURN OFF MORE CALORIES !!!!!
15. EAT ENOUGH FOOD SO YOU DONT PUT YOUR BODY INTO STARVATION MODE !!!!
16. EXERCISING SHOULD BECOME AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU LOOK FORWARD TO EACH DAY!!
17. AND LAST BUT STILL SOMETHING TO REMEMBER !!!!....DO THE BEST YOU CAN DO EVERYDAY !!!!!!

I thought about you during my sunny but cold walk yesterday! The level of intensity with which I walked was way, way up there! I kept thinking of you saying, "It's not how long or how far you walk. It's the intensity level with which you walk!" Something like that! Do you know about Seasonal Affective Disorder? I think many of us who long to hibernate may illustrate those tendancies. I long for the light, light, light this time of year! Your reference to basking in the sun as it shone through the window reminded me of my need for natural sunshine. The fact remains -- I am -- we are -- not as depressed this winter because of a healthy lifestyle! Have a great day!

thank you for your comment cobra i needed to be reminded how much better off i am this year cause im healthier..i guess the weather is gettin to me some cause i want to go walking, an to the gym but i just hate gettin out when its this cold out..an we still have snow on the ground ...most of it has melted, but still some on the edges of the roads..i just get out when i have an errand to do and then get back inside where its warm again...i have been gettin alotta use outta my bib insulated overalls ...im glad i bout em they are nice an warm...especially with it being so cold out...better then 3 pairs of sweat pants..lol...

So you basked in the sun this morning. I've still got that snow you were sending out the other day - and its still falling! Its about six inches high on the bird bath and I cleared yesterday afternoon ready to feed them this morning. I think I've had enough now so if you know anyone else who'd like a bit I won't be upset if you let them have some :)
