goooooood saturday morning everyone!!!...just looked outside an im amazed to see patches of grass...wow...not seen any grass in a week or longer...but still alot of snow to melt, but the warmer temps are causing it to melt...46 outside right now, wind chill of 40...wow....great temps....for a change...went to the gym yesterday and then did an afternoon walk inside...i woke up this morning just alittle sore...but a good sore...want to start doing a morning walk again...but gonna start out slow again since i havnt done any walking in several days...build back up again...but it sure felt great to get bck into the gym again yesterday...yes it was hard to do the regular routine im use to doing...doesnt take long to get outta the routine when you take that many days off...but its good to give your body a rest like that...gives your body longer then 24 hours to rest and when you do go bck and start the gym routine or the morning walks, then yes its alittle hard to get bck into the routine again, but you will burn more calories to start out with cause your bodys not use to the routine...the body adapts to the workouts so quick thats the reason you have to keep it guessing..you ever notice how long it takes to workout an start sweating...as you do the same workouts more, your body gets use to that routine..an it takes longer to start sweating...you have built up a resistance to the workouts..so thats when its time to change workouts an challenge your body...make it work harder to burn them calories...and in the end it will reward you with the numbers on the scales or in inches in the clothes you wear...have a great day...time for me to get up an moving once again!!!

decided to do a morning walk..gonna layer up an head out for a 45 min walk..an keep with the weekends off at the gym...try an stay in that routine and besides a morning walk is what i want worse then a gym workout...i want to get out an enjoy that morning walk like i so much enjoy..i think it might be mistin alittle , but who cares..lol...gonna do a walk as soon as it gets alittle lighter outside...


MY MINI GOALS TO FOCUS ON DAILY!!!!

1. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF !!!!!
2. YOU ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO !!!!!
3. KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE !!!!!
4. VISUALIZE YOURSELF AT YOUR GOALS WEIGHT, IT HELPS YOU TO GET TO YOUR GOAL EASIER !!!!!
5. I AM FIRST !!!!!
6. FORGIVE YOURSELF WHEN YOU MESS UP AND GET BACK ON BACK ON TRACK AT THE NEXT MEAL !!!!
7. DRINK 16 oz OF WATER SOON AS YOU GET OUTTA BED !!!!
8. EAT YOUR HIGHEST AMOUNT OF CALORIES AT BREAKFAST !!!!!
9. AT LUNCH FEWER CALORIES !!!!!
10. AT SUPPER EVEN LESS CALORIES !!!
11. WATER!!! ..WATER!!! ...WATER!!!...FLUSH OUT THE SYSTEM !!!
12. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SALT INTAKE !!!!!
13. TAKING DAYS OFF IS NECESSARY !!!!!! FOR RECOVERY !!!
14. DOING HI-INTENSITY WORKOUTS BUILDS UP MY HEART MUSCLES SO THAT I CAN GET MORE OXYGEN IN MY BODY TO BURN OFF MORE CALORIES !!!!!
15. EAT ENOUGH FOOD SO YOU DONT PUT YOUR BODY INTO STARVATION MODE !!!!
16. EXERCISING SHOULD BECOME AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU LOOK FORWARD TO EACH DAY!!
17. AND LAST BUT STILL SOMETHING TO REMEMBER !!!!....DO THE BEST YOU CAN DO EVERYDAY !!!!!!

just got home from a 40 min morning walk...wow..feels so great to get out an do a walk...still ice on sidewalks an sides of streets..hopefully the warmer weather will take care of that, but then il have to wade water..lol...one extreme to another...o well...lest with the snow meltin i feel more like gettin outta the house and doing stuff...

Doesn't that grren look great! It is great to see the ground again! The forecast is calling for rain next week. Ah oh! Flood waters. Oh well! We will "cross that bridge when we come to it." Thanks so much for leaving your list of "resolutions" up. I read through them every other day or so! They are great reminders! Have a great weekend!

Correction - The word "grren" should read "green" in the previous post. Just returned from my walk and a second form of exercise that I will tell you about tomorrow! See ya later alligator!
