Calorie catchup!!!.. read this in a newsletter this morning an thougth id pass it along...

if you want to more effectively lose weight, you need to start shifting more of your calories to earlier in the day. By doing this, your total calories for the day will be less.

The reason...

You're not playing "calorie catch-up". What that is, is simply you not eating enough early in the day and then you end up chasing down quick calories to satisfy your hunger. It's a downward spiral. By staying ahead of the curve, you contain your hunger and control your cravings a lot better.

The fact is, when you're hungry, you're hungry. You'll grab anything to eat. It's hard to eat healthy when in that state of mind.

Not only will you eat less total calories, but you'll also burn off more calories during the day doing this. So take a couple minutes and think about how you can shift more calories to breakfast and lunch.

alot of what i pass along after i read has to do with exercising in the morning, as thats when i do my workouts...everyone is different an you have to make your workouts fit into your daily routine...its rainin here today an has been since midnite...so no morning walk..guess i was lazy yesterday cause after my morning walk just felt so tired i took a day off from gym ..with the warmer temps im finding it harder to keep a regular routine at the gym...last spring an summer once it got warmer, then i quit the gym an just kept active thru the summer walking to get my workouts and really i enjoy that more then going into the gym...i just enjoy those morning walks and gettin my walk in early in the mornings and beinging done with it...an having the rest of the day to do whatever needs to be done...these last 2 or 3 days that its been so nice have really been a reminder of how much i enjoy the warmer weather...and im really lookin forward to the nicer weather...so guess today its a trip to the gym to get a walk in on the treadmill ...so have a great day..catch you all later...

12. Water !!! ..Water !!! ...Water !!!...Flush Out Your System !!!
13. Keep Track Of Your Salt Intake !!!!!
14. Taking Days Off To Rest Is Necessary... For Recovery !!!
15. Doing Hi-Intensity Workouts Builds Up My Heart Muscles So That I Can Get More Oxygen Into My Body To Burn Off More Of The Calories !!!!!
16. Dont Starve Your Body Of The Calories It Requires !!!!
17. Exercising Should Become An Enjoyable Experience That You Look Forward To Each Day !!
18. And Lastly ....Your Only In Competetion With Yourself...Do The Best You Can Do Everyday !!!!!!

Yes. I have read about consuming larger numbers of calories in the morning. That practice is easier for us to do during the summer months when we are off from school. Especially in the hot weather we enjoy a "light" supper. It's interesting how deeply engrained the pattern of breakfast, lunch, and dinner is in our minds. Have a great day! Very interesting. I do the opposite, but that works for me. I should try that once in a while. And I say, keep doing your walks. Keep doing whatever you love that keeps you active. Going for walks is much better than being cooped up in a gym any day!

felt dizzy this morning when i woke up, so just layin around today gettin rest and took a dizzy pill..really cold for some reason an its 62 outside..so guess im tryin to fight off something..hopefully will be feeling great tomow when all this rain leaves the area...

idk, i agree but.. i eat larger meals for dinner sometimes, and i snack past 9pm, and even a cookie, as long as im w/in calories... thats worked for me! i think you are always right about switching things up though, oh and i love your fact...'when you're hungry, you're hungry. You'll grab anything to eat. It's hard to eat healthy when in that state of mind'
