So my scale seems to have a range of about 4 pounds, depending on where I place it on the floor, which means I weigh myself about 4 times and take an average.
I've also noticed that my level of irritability (not necessaily depression, much more angry than sad) has gone up since a few days after I cut back my intake by g-d knows how much. I'm really glad that I made the connection, as minor things were getting intensified to the point where I could have gotten in a serious fight with my wife.
In some ways it feels really similar to cigarette withdrawal, but I don't actually quit, so it's like smoking 4 cigarettes a day when I'm used to smoking a pack, and sometimes I'm satisfied to just be getting something, while in others the stars align and I have one and then am craving to continue anything I can get (the rest of the pack).
And there was the same sort of irritability there, too.
