Last year this time I was working out as frequently as I can - 45 minute HIIT sessions and mindful eating helped me make significant progress. I’m gonna get back there again eventually. I’m here to enjoy what I can for now. I’m only about 30% heavier with this baby in me. My husband said something insensitive about my weight and I got a lot insecure. So far I’ve liked the way I look - the round belly is just so cute to me. But he made a stupid comment and I got defensive but didn’t express anything, I just wanted to shut down. I had a placenta previa issue and my doctor recommended not exercising. I am hungry a lot. I like sweets. Now that the previa is not an issue, I’m much more out of shape and I don’t exercise. I don’t spend much time outside because of covid and I live in an area that has a lot of unhoused people (most keep to themselves but then there’s screaming pantsless guy ... what up and lady who throws things) so no walks would be better for stress management — going to cut myself off here. I am not intending to rant to the community necessarily, just making a note about pregnancy weight issues I’m experiencing. I’m not feeling very desirable or pretty anymore and I don’t want to give up feeling sexy or beautiful when I am a mom.
