Finally made an appt with my doctor to get my thyroid levels tested....i think my med needs adjusting...feeling in a funk again and weight has totally plateaued, it isnt budging, even with lower calories and more activity...
I hate having thyroid problems...two words--IT SUCKS!

I so feel for you. I am so glad that thyroid issues don't run in my family. To bad there isn't a dip stick or snap test you can buy so you can track your levels.

Thyroid issues dont run in my family either...its a wierd case...even my doctor was suprised after i had my second child to find out that i have hashimotos disease. but we do have one case in the family history of chrones disease....and i guess if there is one autoimmune disease in the family..than any other autoimmune disease is possible. but, generally, where there is one thyroid problem, there are many in a family. my family is just wierd! hahahaha im the only one! oh well...such is my luck! hahahahaa
i wish they had a dipstick or something...that would be awesome and so convenient!!!!
but until they come up with something...i get to get stuck every 6 mos!
