Diario de Jadea, 27 feb. 11

I have been in debate over recording a daily weight and recording it only once a week. I have had issues with my scale and the uneven floors in our bathroom(old house) so I don't know what to blame my fluctuations on more- my body or the scale. I know there are people just starting out and they may be going through the same frustrating back and forth. I would love to let them know they aren't alone! Most likely it's my body and that is ok. I am sticking to the plan as well as I can. Considering I used to take in probably 3500 or more in calories each day- mostly carbs- I know something has to give. I have drastically reduced calories and just about nixed most of the carbs out of my life. I feel great. I woke up this morning and started doing housework! I didn't have to talk myself into starting the dishwasher, starting laundry or even making breakfast. Things are looking up!

Hiya, well is the starting weight @286 accurate? Because it looks like you lost 4 pound in just over a week!!! 9 days. So if we're looking at a an average of 2 pounds a week, you're ahead of the game my dear :D Again, if my math is right... How old is your scale? My scales are sitting right outside my bathroom too, I have carpets in there and don't feel like moving them every time I get on the scale lol

Well, my start weight isn't really accurate. I started at 293 the beginning of February and started on my own(because I have known all along what I need to do for the blood sugar problem) cutting back on carbs. After a week or so I decided to commit. I bought the new Atkins book. Honestly, I think I am doing great! I feel sooooo much better! I just think it's frustrating that one day I am 281.5 and the next day 285. Either way I wore a pair of jeans that I couldn't even get the buttons to meet after Christmas yesterday so the heck with the numbers, right?

Ahhhh I see, well #1 that IS indeed awesome!.. #2 The fluctuation sucks. Yeah get a measruing tape and start taking measurements. I bet you lost a lot of inches already. The scale is a pain that's why I have 2 lol the old fashioned one and the digital to compare because they both are weird sometimes. But that's just me, not saying go buy 2. Other's will tell you to throw it away all together! I personally "require" a scale though lol..
