Good Morning All, First of all I have to say, I finally picked my first 2 squash and 1 zucchini yesterday out of the garden. It rained like crazy for a little while, plus I got to plant my 2 edible Luffa plants. On another note, I guess the dog from across the street is really gone, i haven't seen her in a couple of days. Now there other dog is getting braver and braver to explore (since she is never chained up anymore)and I am worried she will be taken as well, Although that might be the best thing. I feel like it hurts me more than the damn owners. They left her outside in a bad storm last night, and when they got home they still paid no attention to her and left her out. OMG, I want to scream.

Okay, sorry about that, this afternoon I will go with my husband to the gym for a good workout. I do need to finish cutting the backyard today, but it looks like more rain coming really soon. Well, that's about all that is going on so far. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and keep up the great work you are doing on your journey. :)

How will you prepare your squash and zucchini? Always looking for ideas. Mine are only about 1-2" long.

I get furious when I see stuff like that with dogs...it's like why even get a dog if you're going to treat them like that? We are big advocates for rescue shelters but they get so full so quickly, it's like what do you do? turn em in and risk that she isn't lucky enough to get adopted? or stay in that crummy situation? It's heartbreaking, I wish people understood that dogs really do have feelings, I have two and I can tell when they're sad or sick or really happy...just like humans...on another note, have a wonderful weekend and hopefully your neighbors get their heads outta their butts!

I hate it when people get dogs and just leave them outside, my poor dog wouldn't know what to do if I left her out side all night she would think she was abandon or something. Some people just shouldn't have animals. Enjoy your afternoon at the gym.

I know different people have different ideas with dogs, but I can't imagine having a dog and not treating it like part of the family. My dogs are my buddies. So nice that you're getting stuff out of the garden. Our snap peas have been doing great, we're getting a good handful to eat every day and also plenty of lettuce. C'mom maters!

I would start putting some food and water out for the dog and maybe spend more time outside so she might come over to visit. And then if she decided that my home was her new home too, well then so be it! ;) Sounds like they wouldn't miss her.

Whooo hooo! Your green thumb is paying off! I hope the missing dog found a better home.
